Unforgettable moments in South Africa On the recommendation of our local host, we - 2 couples - booked Julie as our guide for three day trips. The activities, which had been planned creatively and professionally in advance of the trip, included a Cape Peninsula tour featuring the Cape of Good Hope and the penguins at Boulder, a safari, and a trip to the wine regions, including a traditional African braai. Julie proved to be a reliable, thoughtful, entertaining and well-organised guide. She had a clear plan, but was always open to individual requests. During the tours, she would regularly take us to spots perfect for taking photos. Julie loves her South Africa and has a seemingly endless repertoire of historical knowledge and anecdotes. She is very active and her stories about golf, hiking and bodyboarding both fascinated and amused us. We had a wonderful time, made some great memories and placed a large wine order with one of the wineries she chose. Extremely helpful, professional and knowledgeable Julie was an excellent guide in Cape Town. She was extremely helpful, friendly, and very knowledgeable about the area. Her explanations were clear and informative, and she answered all our questions with ease. She is also a very safe and confident driver, which made the day very comfortable and relaxing. Wonderful Trip What a fantastic holiday, all thanks to Cape Splendour. We had lots of requirements, from great locations, golf, sightseeing, safari as well as the types of places to stay on our 4 location holiday. Julie’s knowledge was invaluable and we stayed in some wonderful places and had some great experiences. Julie also arranged 2 tours for us and assisted with all aspects of our stay in South Africa. Safari and much more! Once again and I think this is the 4th time, Julie Clark at Cape Splendour tours has arranged the perfect holiday for us. We wanted a great safari experience, plenty of golf , wine tours and beautiful accommodation and we got it all! Exceptional experience We spent time with Julie in the winelands, Cape Town as well on a tour of Cape Point. Her knowledge of the area was exceptional and she was very flexible in adjusting plans based on our input. Truly an exceptional experience and this is the second time she was our tour guide. Capetown tour. Just finished a 2 day Capetown tour with Julie together with my family of 6. The 1st day, was a drive to the Cape of Good Hope, and day 2 was to the winelands with wine tasting. My family had a great time. Julie planned the itinerary and it was just perfect. Julie is extremely knowledgeable and we learnt a lot from her during the drive. She arrived punctually and the pace of the tour was just perfect and we never felt rushed. Her food recommendations were good too. Thanks to Julie touring Cape Town was amazing! Julie is knowledgeable, patient and kind; a great tour guide! Having 3 days of touring with Julie was amazing! She has a wealth of knowledge that is only outmatched by her patience if you're looking for another suitcase or mud cloth.:)) If there is a place she is not sure of, and you've heard about it, she will research it, find it, and make sure you get there. Stellenbosch Wine Region, Western Cape, South Africa We had an amazing winery tour with Julie! She gave us a wonderful contrast between the large, well-known wineries and the smaller independent producers, which made the experience feel both educational and personal.
